ReachDSL - ATM ReachDSL 2.2 is a proprietary flavor of DSL that is capable of providing up to 2176kbps to customers. This product has been proved to reach 40,000 cable feet providing speeds of 256kbps. ATM ReachDSL 2.2 is rate adaptive to the conditions on the line, but speeds are not symmetrical. We prefer not to order to customers who are further out than 40,000 feet due to reliability issues.
Other Available Products
SDSL - SDSL is a distance sensitive symmetrical data circuit capable of 2320kbps. Maximum distance is approximately 25,000 cable feet at 128kbps.
ADSL2+ - ADSL2+ is a high-rate consumer grade data circuit. Data speeds are technically capable of 24Mbps downstream and 2Mbps upstream.
Data T1 - This is a T1 loop service that provides up to 24 data channels (1.5Mbps), . Most typically sold in increments of 4 (256kbps), , 8 (512kbps), , 12 (768kbps), , 16 (1Mbps), and 24 (1.5Mbps), channels, but number of channels allocated is flexible. No voice channels may be added to this type of loop.
Multipoint Data T1 (Multiple Bonded Data T1s), - This is a combination of 2 or more Data T1s that are load balanced to provide bandwidth in increments of 1.5Mbps. 2 T1s = 3Mbps. 3 T1s = 4.5Mbps. 4 T1s = 6Mbps. No voice channels may be added to this type of loop.
VOIP T1 - This is designed similarly to a Data T1. Most commonly this is provisioned as a full rate Data T1.Voice is provided by Voice over IP (VOIP), equipment. Subscriber may have up to 24 voice channels if also utilizing the circuit for Internet access, or up to approximately 40 voice channels on a single T1 if the T1 is dedicated for only Voice over IP (VOIP), traffic.
Rio Flex T1 - The Rio Flex T-1 gives our customers ultimate flexibility, by offering a choice of five data increments and multiple voice lines.
Data DS3 - This is a high rate 44.736Mbps clear channel data circuit delivered on a coaxial pair. This type of circuit can not be channeled, but it can be fractionalized (i.e. only selling 10Mbps instead of the full rate), . Fixed or metered billing options are available for this type of circuit.
Ethernet - This is a very high rate 10/100/1000Mbps short-range data circuit. Service is only available to customers who are collocated in facilities where Rio has a presence, or have short-haul fiber (20km or less), available to their location from Rio's colocation points. Fixed and metered billing is available for this type of circuit
